Children in Conflict with the Law. Review of Diversion in the Juvenile Justice Systems of Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary and Romania

This synthesis report aims to highlight research findings of the Alternative Ways to Address Youth project (AWAY) and contains summaries of evidence-based research reports compiled in Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary, Romania and Belgium. As part of the project, analyses have been conducted in these countries in order to identify the challenges and obstacles for the use of diversion and to map the existing measures that present an alternative to the traditional judicial systems for children in rural areas.
