Navigating Irregularity: The Impact of Growing up Undocumented in Europe

This paper focusses on the following areas: housing, access to services, income and socio-economic status, residence procedures and immigration enforcement (including detention), school life, and family life. These are the areas in which children are either most invisible, or areas central to children’s lives. The report concludes with recommendations to local, national, regional and global policy makers.
